Li Wenyu
Dancer

Dance is the poetry of my body. Each spin and leap tells my story, allowing emotions to flow freely and expressing what words cannot.

Graduated from the Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Department of the Beijing Dance Academy, Lie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance (awarded as an Outstanding Undergraduate) and a Master’s degree in Dance Choreography (recognised as an Outstanding Graduate). Throughout her academic journey, she received multiple national and institutional scholarships.
Her choreography Xuan in Drum Dance was awarded the Folk Dance Prize at the 12th Lotus Awards for Chinese Dance. This work was also selected for the 12th National Taoli Cup Dance Education Achievement Showcase. She later won the Judges Award for Ethnic Dance with her performance in Red Rose at the 17th Seoul International Dance Competition, and received the Gold Award for choreography and performance for Prayer at the 11th Singapore International Dance Festival.
