Illuminate our Great Cultural Heritage with Dance

Chau Ching-yee graduated in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Modern dance, Preforming and Directing . She had also attended advance training including Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz Funk, Hip hip etc.

A graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Mak majored in Chinese Dance was awarded the Spring Time Stage Productions Scholarship, and the Disney Scholarship twice. As a student, she was selected to conduct exchanges and performances in Italy and Taiwan.

Graduated from the Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Department of the Beijing Dance Academy, Lie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance (awarded as an Outstanding Undergraduate) and a Master’s degree in Dance Choreography (recognised as an Outstanding Graduate).

Sun received dance training at the Beijing Dance Academy and in Xinjiang. She graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1998, majoring in modern dance.

Kenny holds a Master’s degree in Taipei University of the Arts, majoring in Performance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Chinese Dance.

Hong Kong-based contemporary dance artist Wayson Poon has lived and worked in Europe and Asia as a creator, performer and researcher.

Born in Hong Kong, Lai Yan-yan joined Hong Kong Dance Company Youth Troupe in 2014 and participated in Henan Art Exchange, Beijing Dance Master Class and Singapore Asian Arts Festival in the period of 2016 – 2019.

Chui Hei-lam graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in 2024, majoring in Chinese Dance. She was the recipient of the Chinese Dance Faculty Scholarship and The Society of APA Merit Awards for Local Students (Dance). 

Wang graduated in 2024 from The Department of Dance Theatre at the Central Academy of Drama, earning the recognition as an Outstanding Graduate.

Lam graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Dance, majoring in Chinese Dance.

Wan graduated from the School of Dance of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Chinese Dance. During her studies, she was awarded the Chinese Dance Faculty Scholarships and the Prof Sheng Zhuoren and Zhao Li Memorial Scholarships.

Born in Hong Kong, Ng Yuen-Man graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2022, majoring in Chinese Dance. Ng was awarded the William Au Arts Education Scholarship as well as HKSAR Government Scholarship for two consecutive years.

Lo Sum-yu graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) with a Bachelor of Dance (Hons) degree, majoring in Chinese dance. During her studies, she was awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship.

Liu Ya-lien was born in Taipei. She graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Ballet, with First-class Honours. She received The Society of Academy for Performing Arts Non-Local Scholarships and Ballet Faculty Scholarship during her studies.
