Accessibility Fund
With the support of the Accessibility Fund, HKDance can open the doors of dance to communities that have never stepped into a theatre or cannot afford tickets. This initiative provides opportunities to enjoy our high-quality productions and open rehearsals free of charge, ensuring that audiences from all backgrounds can come together to experience the transformative power of dance.
Your support empowers us to strengthen our efforts in artistic inclusion, including:
- Exploring and promoting collaborations with artists with disabilities or special talents.
Recent programmes include:
- Bringing diverse communities into the theatre: Providing free tickets and opportunities to attend open rehearsals for seniors, individuals with disabilities, hospitalised children, those in care homes or orphanages, ethnic minority families, and other underprivileged groups. Every donation of HK$3,000 enables 12-20 members of the community with special needs to enjoy HKDance’s high-calibre performances free of charge.
- Creating inclusive and caring experiences: Hosting accessible performances, pre-show touch tours, and relaxed performances, and other events designed to promote inclusivity for people of different abilities.

It is our profound hope and goal to broaden access to the arts and enhance the inclusivity of the theatre experience, empowering every audience member to comfortably enjoy the beauty of dance.
Student Ticket Scheme
HKDance works closely with schools to promote the Art of Chinese Dance to primary and secondary school students. We would like to develop and enhance students' artistic tastes when enjoying the performative arts and thereby expanding their breadth of knowledge. Students will experience Chinese Dance first-hand and get to grips with its storied past.
Give more students the chance to participate in the arts, nurture young talent, and keep our cultural heritage alive.
Every $3,000 you donate will allow 24 students to enjoy our professional performances and participate in educational activities at concessionary rates.
General Fund
The General Fund will directly support HKDance’s artistic vision and goals, empowering us to continuously produce professional, high-quality, and culturally diverse dance programmes with a unique Hong Kong flavour. The Fund promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration and leads Chinese dance into a wider artistic realm, celebrating the beauty of Chinese culture. It allows HKDance to forge ahead, collaborating with globally acclaimed artists to present works that are both creative and locally distinctive, rooted in Hong Kong while connecting with the international stage.
By contributing to this fund, you will help us sustain three core pillars:
- Artistic Creation: Fostering contemporary and culturally rooted Chinese dance that speaks to Hong Kong’s identity.
- Cultural Exchange & Touring: Enabling local and international tours, creating artistic dialogue across regions and building cultural bridges.
- Arts Education & Outreach: Supporting school and community performances, interactive workshops, and public engagement initiatives to deepen cultural appreciation among diverse audiences.
