Synopsis
Liu Sanjie, a folklore about the eponymous heroine’s relentless pursuit of love and freedom, has been passed down for centuries in Guangxi. 2018 marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. To celebrate this occasion, the Hong Kong Dance Company and Nanning Art Theater Limited Liability Company co-present a large-scale dance drama Liu Sanjie.
The Zhuang folklore is recreated by a perfect amalgam of traditional Chinese enthnic dance, the poetic scenery, and the heart-warming mountain songs (that have been listed in the first National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage (Folk Literature Category) of China).
