Feng Weidi
Dancer
In an era where possibilities are drowned and complexities are simplified, I move closer to unfinished moments, allowing dance to begin.
Graduated from the Department of Dance Choreography, Shanghai Theatre Academy with a Bachelor’s degree, Feng was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate of Shanghai.
His choreographic work Into Thin Air was selected for the Up to Date Creative Project at Guangdong Dance Festival, later presented at the Busan International Performing Arts Market (BPAM). In the same year, he received the Jury Prize at Yokohama Dance Collection 2025. His works Sooner or Later it will be over and 1cm Off Ground were chosen for the 8th and 9th Young Artists Program in Dance (YAPD Choreolab) organized by the China Dancers Association.
He has collaborated with choreographers such as Ergao, Yang Zhen, and Kenny Wing Tao Ho, performing in works including Disco-Teca, Butterfly Island, Hommage and Flower in Ruins. Feng has also been invited to participate in major festivals such as the Move to Move International Dance Festival (Aranya), the 2025 SIDCT China Contemporary Dance Biennial, and the Mid-mountain Dancers Art Week (Changsha).
