Wang Muning
Dancer

"When singing is insufficient, the hand and the feet instinctively move alongside the rhythm." Dance becomes the dance vessel of our emotions and dancers become ‘their’ storytellers. In various dances, we discover multifaceted versions of ourselves; through different roles, we experience lives unlike our own.

Wang graduated in 2024 from The Department of Dance Theatre at the Central Academy of Drama, earning the recognition as an Outstanding Graduate. During her studies, she consistently received various accolades, including the First-Class Scholarship, Second-Class Scholarship, and the National Inspirational Scholarship, and was honoured with the title of Academy-Level "Outstanding Student in Three Domains".
Her recent performances and achievements include performing as a dancer in the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics in Emblems in Our Hearts. She participated in the women’s group dance Melody of Spring River, winning the First Prize in the Professional Youth Category at the 18th Beijing Dance Competition and the 11th North China Five Provinces Dance Competition. Her solo piece Homeward Journey was awarded the Gold Prize at the Prix d'Europe 2023–2024 Concours International De Damse. In 2024, she was invited to perform at the inaugural New Dancer Gala: Night of Dance Stars and joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in the same year.
