Training
Tailor-made for members of different ages and levels, the regular and diversified courses emphasize skills training to enhance students’ body coordination and flexibility, so they are able to accomplish such aspects of dance as turn-out, point and extension of the body.

Performance
A wide range of platforms are arranged for students of different levels and talents to develop their performing skills. Through performances, students learn about teamwork and the concept of working towards objectives. The Troupes also connect with other arts organisations to provide students with valuable learning and performing opportunities.

Appreciation
Through “Training” and “Performance”, students gradually build self-esteem and get a more comprehensive knowledge on Chinese culture, while developing their sense of aesthetics. Moreover, students are encouraged to watch performances regularly and participate in the meet-the-artist sessions, talks, workshops, class demonstrations and rehearsals. We also organise various exchange activities to let students step out of the classroom to see, feel and appreciate the arts from diversified perspectives.

The Scheme sponsors outstanding members to participate in various arts activities, in order to broaden their horizons and artistic literacy, as well as challenging them mentally and physically. The recipients can go on an exchange with different artists or youth to enrich their life experience.

Arts Appreciation Scheme
We encourage students to watch HKDance's main productions with their parents, and participating in talks and seminars, so that they can learn more about the Company and gain a better sense of belonging.
