Yan Sung-hei
Contract Dancer
Born in Hong Kong, Yan Sung-hei graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2022 majoring in Chinese Dance. Yan was awarded the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship during his studies, he has also participated in numerous school productions, including Drum, Beyond Calligraphy (Excerpts), My Dance, Meshrep, Red Fan etc. In 2019, Yan joined the Tari'19 ASWARA 10th Kuala Lumper International Dance Festival in Malaysia and was selected to participate in a collaborative initiative with Akram Khan Company, taking a production residency and starring in Jungle Book Reimagined in London, United Kingdom in 2022. He joined Hong Kong Dance Company as Apprentice upon graduation and became Contract Dancer in September 2023.
