He Yongning

He Yongning graduated from Guangdong Dance School, majoring in Chinese Dance in 2006. She then obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with First-class Honours from The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, majoring in Chinese Dance in 2011. During her studies she received several awards and scholarships. She joined Hong Kong Dance Company in 2012. 

He’s solo dance piece Hesitate garnered the Gold Award and Outstanding Female Dancer Award at the Bauhinia Cup International Invitational Competition 2013. She was invited to perform at the first Open Dance event at the Jao Tsung-I Academy in 2014, the Beppu Contemporary Arts Festival 2015, the NDA 1^st Asian Solo & Duo Challenge for MASDANZA 2016 in Seoul, and i-Dance Festival Opening 2016. She choreographed 4 Times 13=? for “8/F Platform X”: A Decade of Creativity in 2016. In 2017 she was invited by renowned choreographer Wayne McGregor to take part in a residency programme in London. She performed a major role in The Moon Opera in 2021 and choreographed I’m here in “8/F Platform”: here and there.
