Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination (Beijing Examination) is based on the syllabus of the Beijing Examination. It includes basic training for Chinese dance, flexibility and coordination of body, flexibility of joints, rhythm and choreography. All instructors are Beijing Examination qualified teachers, and students are recommended to take part in the Beijing Examination each year. Students from the Hong Kong Dance Company with distinction and credit in the Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Examination may be chosen to partake in the 2008 International Chinese Dance Graded Examination Joint Showcase.

The students, who got the grade of “Outstanding” and “Good” in Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination, were qualified to participate in 2008 Joint Demonstration of Syllabus for Chinese Dance Graded Examination on 22 Nov 2008 at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
