Corporate Sponsorship

Hong Kong Dance Company welcomes Sponsorship from your organization. Your support will contribute to local arts development, allowing the public to enrich their lives through appreciating the arts. Your contribution will at the same time promote the social corporate image of your organization.

Hong Kong Dance Company offers the following Sponsorship Scheme:

 Program Sponsorship

1) Title Sponsorship Scheme
Sole Title Sponsor – Your organization will be the ONLY Sponsor of the whole production.
Title Sponsor – Your organization will be one of the Sponsors of the production.

2) Individual Performance Sponsor
Your organization could select part of or all tickets of any one or more performances as the complimentary tickets for your guests, clients or staff; or as a fund-raising event.

3) Overseas Tour Sponsorship Scheme
Hong Kong Dance Company was invited by China and overseas presenters every year for Overseas Tour Programs. In July to August 2008, the company was invited to perform the Grand Dance Poem Qingming Riverside in the National Centre for the Performing Arts. The company also participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympic.

 Educational Schemes Sponsorship

4) School Tour Sponsorship Scheme
Hong Kong Dance Company conducts more than 35 School Tours each year, reaching out to over 20,000 students and teachers, allowing them to appreciate the Chinese dancing arts at close distance. Through your support, more students could be able to get in touch with Chinese dance and to understand the Chinese culture.

5) HKDC Children’s Troupe Sponsorship Scheme
The ‘Hong Kong Dance Company Children’s Troupe’ was established in 2006. There are 103 members at present, with their age ranging from 7 to 16. The establishment aims at promoting the interest and appreciation of the Chinese dancing arts in the children and youth; cultivating quality dance talents; and developing Children dance works with Hong Kong characteristics.
In 2008, the company established another ‘Hong Kong Dance Company Youth Troupe’ for youth aged 13-17, and has now 59 members. The company also at the same time extended the Children Troupe division at the Tsuen Wan Town Hall.
Your organization is welcomed to sponsor the ‘Hong Kong Dance Company Children’s Troupe Scholarship’ as an encouragement for talented students.

6) Student Ticket Sponsorship Scheme
In 2008/09, Hong Kong Dance Company has been benefiting over 5,000 students to appreciate quality dance performance at half ticket price. Through your support to this scheme, more students will be able to get in touch with Chinese dance and to understand the Chinese culture.

Apart from Corporate Sponsorship, Hong Kong Dance Company also welcomes Individual Sponsorship.
