Chen Lei 陳磊 Chen Lei Chen Lei graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy. He won the Outstanding Folk Dance Performance in the youth category in the 6th China Taoli Cup Dance Competition. With Qiu Yue, he won Second Prizes in the Inaugural New Century Northern China Dance Competition for both his choreography and performance in 2001. He also received the second prize in the same competition with his dance work, the Nu Er Hong (Daughters of Note). He joined the HKDC in 2002 and he has performed in the Company’s The Butterfly Lovers, Water Margin, A Vast Land, A Diverse People as lead dancer, The Four Beauties as Lu Bu, Farewell my Concubine as Han and King of Fairy Tales - The Eternal Child as The Old Bachelor.

Kong Lai-ming 江麗明 Kong Lai-ming Having developed a keen interest in dance at an early age, Kong Lai-ming entered the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to receive four years of training in Chinese dance and joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 1991. She has performed in Journey to the West - The Monkey King at Mount Inferno as Princess Iron Fan, the re-run of Journey to the West -The Monkey King Thrice Beats the Bony Ghost as the Bony Ghost, and The Butterfly Lovers as Zhu Yingtai.
